Listed below are a variety of resources to assist faculty in identifying and locating funding sources for research and projects.

 
National Science Foundation (NSF)
NSF funds research and education in most fields of science and engineering, including the following program areas:
 
National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) and National Institutes of Health (NIH)
— The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) serves and strengthens our republic by promoting excellence in the humanities and conveying the lessons of history to all Americans.
— The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is the nation's medical research agency - supporting scientific studies that turn discovery into health. NIH's mission is to seek fundamental knowledge about the nature and behavior of living systems and the application of that knowledge to enhance health, lengthen life, and reduce illness and disability.
 
Additional Public Funding Opportunities
— The Fulbright Core US Scholar Program provides teaching and/or research grants to US faculty and experienced professionals in a wide variety of academic and professional fields in over 125 countries worldwide.
